Join the Environmental Team in a facilitated Zoom discussion about the future of the Hughes Stadium site. Two to 12 participants will explore different possibilities, and each person will complete a digital survey. Your survey responses will be sent to a Civic Assembly, where they will help form a recommendation for the Fort Collins Council. Your ideas will also be combined with input from other discussions across Fort Collins.

The discussion will be only about ideas that address the voter-approved ballot language from 2021 that allowed the City of Fort Collins to purchase the land from CSU. Critical excerpts are “…acquire…to use for parks, recreation, and open lands, natural areas, and wildlife rescue and restoration…” Eligible participants include Fort Collins and other Larimer County residents and non-League members. Interpretation services are available with advance notice.

The 164.56-acre site is on S. Overland Trail and County Road 42C. This process is a partnership with the City of Fort Collins and the CSU Center for Public Deliberation.
