Democracy depends on informed and active participation of citizens in government.

Every election season, the League of Women Voters of Larimer County invites the public to become more informed about the election by attending our nonpartisan candidate forums and ballot issues presentations.

Our candidate forums give voters the opportunity to hear directly from local and statewide candidates.

Our ballot issues presentations give voters the opportunity to ask questions about issues that will be on their ballot.

The decisions we make by casting a vote affect issues such as the economy, health care, education, the environment and security for generations to come.  Attending or watching a League-hosted candidate forum or ballot issues presentation is one of the best ways to become informed on the candidates and issues before casting your ballot.
